Dr. Bryan Carter
Who Is Dr. Carter
Two decades at the intersection of the Harlem Renaissance and immersive technology.
Dr. Carter received his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a tenured Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Arizona, specializing in African American literature of the 20th century with a primary focus on the Harlem Renaissance and digital culture. His research explores advanced visualization and how sustained digital communication affects student engagement in literature courses.
